postmetacoxal area sclerotized; wing cell r4+5 with a petiole as long as postangular sectionof M or longer; male vertex at most 1/6 as wide as one eye in dorsal view, vertex of female about as wide as one eye; parafacial with a row of setulae; vibrissa arising at level of lower facial margin; one katepisternal seta; wing with or without transverse dark bands; mid femur without spinules; abdominal tergites with strong marginal setae; abdominal sternites concealed between margins of abdominal tergites
