Remarks:

prementum usually shorter than height of head (much longer in E. simonyi – Canary Islands); mid-dorsal depression on abdominal syntergite 1+2 usually extended back to hind margin of that segment (except in E. iberica); Cs2 usually bare ventrally (but with some setulae E. tatianae and occasionally also in E. litoralis); arista usually with long microtrichia (short microtrichose only in E. lacteipennis)
