Remarks: head hemispherical; parafacial bare; vibrissa arising at level of lower facial margin; subvibrissal setae not vibrissa-like; gena at most 1/8 as high as vertical diameter of eye; scutellum with 3 pairs of marginal setae, apical setae crossed; postmetacoxal area membraneous; preapical anterodorsal seta on fore tibia distinctly longer than preapical dorsal seta; mid tibia with 2 or more anterodorsal setae; R1 setose dorsally; bend of M without continuation; lateral margin of lower calypter without long hairs; abdominal syntergite 1+2 with median marginal setae, its mid-dorsal depression not extending back to hind margin of that segment; abdominal tergites 3 and 4 each with median discal setae
